Generative High-Density Co-Housing
Continuum ii was intended as a high density, ‘soft co-housing’ intervention along a proposed developing urban corridor in West Torrens. Its intention is to provide a low-rise, high-density residential precinct bordering the suburbs, in an attempt to link the suburbs with the often neglected River Torrens, and promote new, more sustainable living practices to the area. Its form is simple yet robust, and the material palette consisting predominantly of in-situ concrete suggests permanence and importance.
