Educational+Sustainable Hub for the Adelaide Central Markets

This scheme served as a competition entry for the Adelaide Central Markets ‘Market Tower’ competition. The aim was to utilise the tower as a sustainable education hub for the Central Markets, with a food miles calculator installation, facilities for cooking classes using South Australian ingredients from the market, a gallery for local artists to exhibit work, and a rooftop garden. The staircase and deck provides access from the street and carpark, andserves an additional branding opportunity for the Markets.
